TOUR DESCRIPTION City Tour & Schönbrunn This tour will give you an overall impression of the most significant sight of Vienna. Along the Ringstrasse we show you numerous magnificant buildings, such as the MAK, the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Natural History Museum, the cultural destrict the MuseumsQuartier, the former Habsburg winter residence, the Hofburg, the Parliament, the City Hall and the Burgtheater. The highlight of this tour will be a visit of the showrooms of Schönbrunn Palace. In this former summer residence of the Habsburg family lived e.g. Maria Theresia. The MAK shows applied and contemporary art in temporary exhibitions as well as in its unique permanent and study collections. On the way back to the opera we pass by the Belvedere Palace, the former summer residence of Prince Eugen. City Tour & Boatride As an ideal supplement to our Historical City Tour we invite you to a leisurely boat tripon the Danube. We show you the Prater, the Danube Tower, and the United Nations building, the famous building by Friedensreich Hundertwasser, such as the Kunsthaus, and we get out of this most well known building the Hundertwasserhaus. From the hills of the Vienna Woods you can enjoy a magnificent view over vineyards an the city. On the way back to the center, we pass through the romantic wine growing village of Grinzing. The tour finishes either at the Opera House or at Schwedenplatz. Vienna Woods & Mayerling A half-day excursion which shows you the most beautiful sights of the southern part of Vienna Woods. Passing the Roman City of Baden which is famous for its thermal springs, we drive through the romantic valley Helenental to the former Mayerling hunting lodge, today a commemorative chapel, where Crown Prince Rudolph together with Baronesse Vetsera died tragically in 1889. In the Cistercian Abbey of Heiligenkreuz (1133) you visit the medieval cloister which houses the remains of last the Babenberger. We then pass the Höldrichsmühle and arrive at the Seegrotte. After a boatride on the largest subterranean lake in Europe you leave the Vienna Woods and return to Vienna finishing at the Opera House. Romantic Danube Valley Full-day excursion, which will show you the beauty of the Wachau. Through this romantic scenery full of history and legends the Danube winds his way past charming old villages and steep vineyards. The old castles tell us about the former importance of this trade- and trafficway, one of them -Dürnstein- especially famous, because here King Richard Lionheart was imprisoned, while waiting for his ransom to arrive from England, raised by his true minstrel Blondel. During a romantic boat-trip the history comes alive. The heart of the Wachau is the old vine-merchants town Krems. To complete this day of highlights you will visit Melk, the "Cradle of Austria" , the magnificent Benedictine Abbey, a pearl of the Austrian Baroque. Possibility for the lunch in the Abbey Restaurant at Melk. The tour finishes at the Opera House. Burgenland After a walk through the old city centre of Baden (see Beethoven´s house, Emperor´s house) we drive through the countryside of Lake Neusiedl an area on the UNESCO list of world heritage sights. In Rust, the city of storks, you have the possibility for lunch accompanied by Gipsy Music. Enjoy an impressing boat cruise on the Lake Neusiedl, which is Europe´s largest steppe lake and a unique paradise for birds on the Austrian-Hungarian border. We also visit Eisenstadt, once the residence of the Hungarian Princes and many years the home of the composer Joseph Haydn. The tour end at the Opera Wiener Serenade & Grinzing We start the evening by driving along the Ringstrasse on our way to the Viennese amusement park, the Prater. A ride on the Giant Ferris Wheel will give you a marvellous view over the city. Next enjoy being entertained by members of the 1st Grinzinger Heurigenshow - you will hear the most famous Viennese songs and operettas and have the opportunity to dance. A good evening meal including ¼ liter of wine together with the unique atmosphere at the wine-tavern and you`ll certainly need nothing more to set you back into the 19th century. Price includes ride on the Giant Ferris Wheel, Heurigenshow with dinner and transfer back to your hotel. When the Giants Ferris Wheel is closed (during the winter season) we invite you to a drive up the Cobenzl hill and a glass of sparkling wine. Salzburg On our way to Mozart´s town of birth you become acquainted with the beautiful Salzkammergut landscape with their mountains and their numerous lakes, where the Emperor Franz Joseph and his family used to spend their holidays. Skirting the Lake Fuschl and Lake Wolfgang you reach Salzburg, where you will have time for lunch. The afternoon will be dedicated to a stroll through the old city, showing you the most important sights of the ols Bishop´s Seat. These are the Cathedral, the Festvall Hall, St.Peter´s Abbey Church and it´s graveyard (tomb of Mozartßs sister Nannerl) Of course we will show you Mozart´s birth place in the Getreidegasse. The Edelweiss-Song from the movie Sound of Music will come to your memory, while passing the horse-pond and from the gardens of Mirabell-Palace you will have a marvellous view of the Hohensalzburg Fortress. The tour end at your hotel. Budapest A drive to the enchanting countryside of western Hungary will take you to Budapest, a city rich in traditions, situated on the banks of the Danube (time for lunch). In the afternoon during an extensive drive you will be able to appreciate the historical and cultural importance of this city. At 5:00 p.m. we start the return journey to Vienna. The tour ends at your hotel. Prague After a drive through the characteristic landscape of Moravia, you reach Praghe the golden city on the banks of the Moldavia, the economic and cultural centre of Bohemia. Possibility for lunch. Afterwards drive to Hradschin (Royal Palace). In the afternoon we take you on an extensive city tour, showing you the wonderful panorama of the city from Charles bridge, the National Theatre, the elegant residences on the Moldavien river banks, the Jewish cementary (individual visit possible), the Parisian street, the old town square and Wencels square. There will be certainly enough time for shopping or exploring the old quarters of Praghe. The tour ends at your hotel.

TOUR DESCRIPTION Mozart City Tour with Fortress Hohensalzburg. A city tour of approx 1,5 hrs showing you the highlights of Salzburg. We start off in front of Mirabell Palace, built by the Archbishop Wolf Dietrich for his mistress and their children. Today, the palace host the city council. We continue along the Schawarzstraße and pass by the Mozarteum (university of music) and the Marionette Theatre. Further along we see the County Theatre and Mozart’s Residence on the Mozartsquare. Here we also admire the Church of the Holy Trinity, built by the baroque architect Fischer von Erlach. We cross the river Salzach and on our way to Hellbrunn Palace we’re passing the Law Courts. A short stop is planned at this palace, built at the beginning of the 17th century by the court architect Santino Solari. It was most popular by the archbishops for their weekend excursions. Returning to the centre of Salzburg, we pass by the Frohnburg Palace and the Nonnberg Abbey, the oldest monastery for nuns in German speaking countries, before we reach the old town again through the Neutor Tunnel. We see the Festival House, the Horse Pond and the St Blasius Church before we finish our tour on the Mozartsquare. The Most Unique Sound of Music Tour A “must” for all enthusiasts of the movie “Sound of Music”! Palace of Leopoldskron: the family had pink lemonade on the terrace where Baroness Schröder and Maria danced with the Baron on the balcony. The children and Maria were on the boat and fell into the water of this lake. St Gilgen/Lake Wolfgang: Scenery shown at the beginning of the film. The village is situated on the north-west lakeside on the Wolfgangsee. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s mother was born here.
Salzburg Highlights Our 1 hour sightseeing tour for guests with very limited time! An opportunity to see many of Salzburg’s historical highlights in a short time. World Cultural Tour A combination of a city tour of Salzburg (incl the fortress Hohensalzburg) followed by a beautiful tour through the Lakes & Mountains area. Part 1: City Tour incl. the fortress "HOHENSALZBURG" Each guest receive a ticket for the fortress Hohensalzburg (up and down with the funicular and entrance to the courtyards). Salzkammergut - Lakes & Mountains See the colourful scenery in the lakes & mountains area. During the summer months enjoy a romantic boat trip across lake St Wolfgang. This tour to the lake district shows the scenic beauty surroundings of the city of Salzburg, taking us past the villages of Hof, Fuschl, St Gilgen and St Wolfgang. In St Gilgen we see the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s mother, later on also Wolfgang’s sister Nannerl lived in this house with her family. In St Wolfgang we visit the church and admire its famous altar by Michael Pacher. Enjoy the atmosphere in St Wolfgang with the renowned „White Horse Inn“. During the summer months (May – Oct) a romantic boat trip across the lake is included, allowing us to enjoy the splendours of the landscape surrounding the lake. Before we reach Mondsee, we’re passing the small and mythic Krottensee. We stop shortly in Mondsee and here we have the possibility to visit the collegiate Benedictine church from the 12th century. The church was rebuilt in Gothic style (1470) and we here find some works by the baroque sculptor Meinrad Guggenbichler. In the late afternoon we’re returning to Salzburg.
Berchtesgaden - Bavarian Mountains In the southernmost corner of Germany Berchtesgaden is nestled within the mountains – a village as pretty as a postcard! A visit to the picturesque village of Königssee highlights the day! Our tour takes us towards the historical Celtic town of Hallein, over the Dürrnberg mountain road, past the old salt mines into neighbouring Bavaria in Germany. Our first stop is in Königssee, a beautiful small village on the lake with the same name. We continue to Berchtesgaden, nestled in between the mountains with a romantic flair! We have enough time to stroll through the town and for a short visit to the mighty cathedral, built by the Augustinian monks, to admire the interior decoration. The relaxing stay in Berchtesgaden close the day, and we return to Salzburg in the late afternoon.

Salt mines “The white gold” used to be very valuable in earlier times! We take you from Salzburg in direction Hallein. On our way we pass the pilgrimage church of Dürrnberg and the Celtic village before we reach the salt mines. Before entering the salt mine we get some protective clothing and then we’re off into the mountain with a small train! We’re being accompanied through the tunnels by miners, but we’re also being given interesting information to the extraction of the salt by our mountain guide and via video from a large screen. Using slides takes us further into the mountain and we’re even enjoying a short trip on a boat across an underground lake.
Ice caves Experience the world’s largest ice caves - the Eisriesenwelt Werfen. Important: Guests need sturdy shoes, warm clothes and gloves!
