Meeting at the second largest Synagogue in the world (Budapest, 7th district, Dohány Street). Visit the Jewish Museum inside, the Jewish Cemetery, the Tree of Life and the Heroes Memorial. Starting from Erzsébet Square go for a short walk to explore the Market Hall/Vámház körút in the downtown at the Pest foot of Peto”fi Bridge. * Gödöllö - Queen Elisabeth tour Starting from Erzsébet square this is an excursion to the Palace of Gödöllo”, the so-called Hungarian Versailles’ Palace is located 30 km far from Budapest. It was built in baroque style and used to be a summer residence of Emperor Francis Joseph and his wife, Elisabeth (Sissy) in the second half of the 19th century. After a guided tour in the world largest porcelain manufactory (founded in 1826), coffee-break in the Porcelanium. The Hungarian State Folk Ensemble, the Danube Folk Ensemble and Rajkó Folk Ensemble are three of the best professional Hungarian folk ensembles with a long tradition (formed in 1951, 1957, and 1952) and having performances all over the world. Each ensemble consist of 30 artists. The choreography is based onauthentic dances. Some of them was collected in isolated villages and date back hundreds of years. Through the dances one can get a broad view to the music, dance and costume heritage of Hungary. The performances take 2 x 45 minutes with a break. The Hungarian State Folk Ensemble has performences in Budai Vigadó, whilst the Danube Folk Ensemble and Rajkó Folk Ensemble in Duna Palota (Danube Palace).
