Traveling can be a safe and fun experience if you use a few common sense tips.
- Consult your home country travel advisory for the country you are planning to visit
- Register with your local embassy upon arrival
- Don’t show off your money and other valuables in public places
- Be careful of Digital Cameras and other valuables accessories you might be lugging around as someone could snatch it
- Don’t stray into dark alleys. Stay with your group if in a guided tour
- If you have friends from the country you want to visit, it can be useful to ask them for travel advice.
