GENERAL INFORMATION
The private accommodation is a convenient type of lodging both for shorter and longer stays. Further, they may allow to get close to the Hungarian living. Private facilities such as fully equipped kitchen and en-suit bathroom belong to the apartments, holiday houses and farm-houses while shared bathroom and shared kitchen (to prepare simple things) belong to the private rooms. Some of the private rooms are equipped with private bathroom. The furniture always shows the owner’s taste.
* 2-night-stays are available in apartments on agreement.
* 1-night-stay is not available in apartments, but in private rooms.
Check-in: after 17:00 p.m. on the day of arrival.
Check-out: before 12:00 a.m. on the day of departure.
Other options are flexible on request
Keys’ pick-up and drop: either in through pentatours or in the apartment/private room/holiday house/farm-house. (Other options are on request.)
Over the apartments, private rooms and houses listed on our web-site we have got a huge allotment in Hungary. All enquiries and requests will be welcomed.
PRICES
The Budapest apartments’ prices given in the below price-list are quoted in Hungarian Forints and are confidential and net for us. The prices concern per apartment per night. Being private properties the allotment might be changed due course.
In case of longer stays a big discount is available depending on the season (high season or low seasons), the location, the length of stay and the number of guests.
The prices include the house/apartment/private room cleaned by the time of check-in, the use of water, gas, electricity (heating in winter), bed-cloth, bed-linen, towels and after a week-stay cleaning and bed-linen/towels-change.
The tourist tax should be paid extra (between 18-70 years) and it is 3 % of the renting-fee in Budapest and HUF 100-400/person/night in the countryside.
The usual required stay is min. 4 nights in cities and 7 nights at holiday resorts (exceptions are indicated). In case of allowed shorter stays than 4 nights there is a supplement of 30 % charged upon only one night. The tourist tax won’t be charged on the supplement.
The majority of our apartments, private rooms, houses and farm-houses can be booked all the year round (exceptions are indicated).
RESERVATIONS & THE WAY AND FORM OF PAYMENT
* Reservations can be made and confirmed through e-mail, telephone and fax. Having confirmed the accommodation we require the payment two weeks before arrival.
* Payment is required via bank-transfer or credit card in advance.
Via bank-transfer: the bank details will be stated on our pro-forma invoice sent having settled the reservation. The bank charges should be undertaken by the customer.
Via credit cards: the name and exact postal address and authorization of the card holder, the tpye and number of credit card, expiry date, CVV code (the last three digits in the signiture line on the back of the card) are needed. We do accept Visa, Master, Diners and AmEx cards. The datas are handled confidential and completely destroyed after charging.
Please, be learnt that our firm is authorised to charge credit cards only in Hungarian currency that is the Hungarian Forints.
CANCELLATION POLICY
There is no penalty in case of cancellation over 14 days before arrival. In case of cancellation within 14 days before arrival or on the 14th day or during lodging or no show the penalty will be the cost of a 2-night-stay. Special terms concern for discounted prices given for long-term-stays such as a few weeks or a month.
